Italian language schools of Asils in Umbria
If you are interested in studying Italian in Umbria the ASILS Association is pleased to give you some tips.
Umbria, the green heart of Italy, is the home of art, nature and events renowned all around the world: from the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, to Umbria Jazz or Eurochocolate in Perugia. The Umbrian capital is the ideal starting point to explore the surroundings: Assisi, Gubbio, Todi, Foligno, Orvieto, Città di Castello, the Trasimeno Lake with its sunny islands, just to mention some of the most famous sites. In the villages you can walk between ancient walls, narrow streets and stately palaces. Perugia is also a famous university town which annually attracts not only Italian students, but also many foreigners. In Umbria you can choose between religious routes (e.g. in the footsteps of St. Francis starting from his hermitage, a place that inspires peace and spirituality) or even art tours and ‘food and wine paths’. Actually, a trip to this region always combines all aspects of discovery: from crafts to Umbrian recipes, from masterpieces by Giotto to a meditation break, from a rafting tour to an outdoor concert.
