Moreover, exactly in this region the Sicilian School, at the beginning of XIII century with\u00a0<\/span>Federico II<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Svevia, began to structure the Vulgar Latin, the Latin language spoken by common people. At Federico\u2019s court many academics and scholars from all over the Mediterranean area experimented an idea of the\u00a0<\/span>Italian language<\/strong>, recalled later from the Tuscan School. In the vast territory of the region you can still see the traces of Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Norman, Spanish, French. The\u00a0<\/span>cultural routes<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to follow are dozens, as well as the natural ones (in the oases and parks, including saltworks) and many activities can be done. Not only the\u00a0<\/span>trekking<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>on the Etna volcano, rafting or mountain bike rides, but also water sports: from diving to surfing.<\/p>\n
